Reach truck Operator Training course is designed by the CSA Standard B335-15 – The CSA Safety Standard for Lift Trucks (B335-15) identifies the knowledge and practical skills needed by lift truck operators. The practical evaluation requires lift truck operators to demonstrate a skill level equal or greater to the industry accepted standards of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulation 851.

Walkie Rider Training course is designed by the CSA Standard B335-15 – The CSA Safety Standard for Lift Trucks (B335-15) identifies the knowledge and practical skills needed by lift truck operators. The practical evaluation requires lift truck operators to demonstrate a skill level equal or greater to the industry accepted standards of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulation 851. Walkie rider license training provides the participants with the skill and knowledge related to powered equipment as defined by AS 2359.2. Having your employees professionally trained operating specific equipment at the workplace keeps everybody safe including pedestrians and operators. The walkie stacker lift truck operator training course is designed to provide warehouse operators with a solid foundation. 

Walkie rider meet the criteria as a powered industrial truck. These are some of the main standards concerning powered industrial truck safety. Many provinces have additional standards, as do some industries. But it’s your responsibility to know all federal, local, and company rules that apply to your job site.

The objective of the industrial walkie/rider training course is to give employees an understanding of how to safely and operate a walkie/rider. Walkie/rider training will train employees on how to identify health and safety hazards with the safe operation of a walkie/rider.

How to achieve your (TDG) Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate you need to understand the transportation of dangerous goods. This needs to be taken seriously to provide the highest level of safety on roads and railways and for the communities these goods pass through on the way to their destinations.

The Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act (TDG Act) is Canadian Legislation and deals with the handling, selling and transporting of items or substances that are classified as dangerous by the United Nations.

The TDG Act became law in 1985, in response to the derailment of a train that was carrying explosive and poisonous chemicals that happened in Mississauga, Ontario in 1979.

(WHMIS) The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System is Canada’s national hazard communication standard. The key elements of the system are hazard classification, cautionary labeling of containers, the provision of (material) safety data sheets ((M)SDSs), and worker education and training programs. 

The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) has aligned with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). GHS is a worldwide system with a common set of rules for classifying hazardous products, common rules for labels, and a standard format for safety data sheets (SDSs). 

As of December 1, 2018, there must be WHMIS 2015 labels and safety data sheets for all hazardous products in the workplace. This course familiarizes you with the WHMIS 2015 system and how it is used in workplaces.

 Learning about WHMIS 2015 is part of the knowledge that you need to protect yourself and your co-workers from hazardous products. Certification available upon completion.
